March 23, 24 @ Lehigh
W, 4-1; W, 10-9; W, 14-2; L, 16-9
Junior outfielder Trey Durrah was tearing the cover off the ball in the first three games, racking up three homers and 15 RBI. Sophomore pitcher JP Woodward allowed just one run in the first game and junior pitcher Brett Kreyer fanned nine in the third game as both went the distance. Durrah earned conference Player of the Week and freshman infielder Justin Johnson earned conference Rookie of the Week with several multi-hit efforts.
March 26 @ St. Joseph’s
W, 3-1
The team needed just five hits to score three runs and win the road game. After four games in two days, the Leopards elected to have six pitchers share the workload, with none staying in further than two frames.
Men’s tennis (3-6) (1-2)
March 23 @ Army
L, 4-0
The Leopards were swept in the doubles and singles points in the opening match of Patriot League play.
March 23 @ Holy Cross
W, 4-3
The team won four of six singles matches to earn the victory over the Crusaders. Sophomores John Yurconic, Dan Kramer, and Brandt Baldwin, and junior Paul Caruso all picked up singles wins.
March 24 @ Loyola Maryland
L, 4-1
Yurconic and Kramer won at No. 2 doubles, and freshman William Barry grabbed a singles win in the Leopards’ loss.
Women’s tennis (6-5) (1-2)
March 23 @ Army
L, 4-0
Sophomore Samantha Snyder was leading her singles match when the Black Knights picked up the game-clinching point, but the Leopards were swept in the remaining singles and doubles matches.
March 24 @ Holy Cross
W, 5-0
Freshman Maureen McCormack, sophomores Cece Lesnick and Samantha Snyder, and junior Grace Conrad all tallied singles wins. The duos of sophomore Alexa Cooke and McCormack, and junior Meredith Block and Conrad earned victories in the Leopards’ sweep of the doubles matches.
March 24 @ Loyola Maryland
The tandems of Cooke and McCormack and Conrad and Block both won their doubles matches, while Block also contributed a win at No. 4 singles in the loss.
Men’s lacrosse (4-6) (0-4)
March 23 @ Boston University
L, 17-9
A trio of midfielders, senior Connar Dehnert, sophomore Andrew Robbins, and freshman Cole Dutton, scored two goals apiece to pace the offense. The Leopards won just five face-offs compared to the Terriers’ 24, and were outshot 41-28.
Women’s lacrosse (4-6) (0-3)
March 27 @ Bucknell
L, 16-15
Senior attackers Jane Kirby and Emma Novick each recorded three goals, and junior midfielder Bella Alampi tallied a hat trick of her own in the team’s loss. Sophomore attacker Anna Stein had a pair of goals, including one with 44 seconds remaining in regulation to send the game to overtime.
March 23 @ Boston University
L, 18-8
Seven different Leopards scored, including two from Novick, but the Terriers proved too much for Lafayette, winning both halves 9-4.
March 27 @ Bucknell
L, 16-15 (OT)
Kirby, Novick, and Alampi all tallied hat tricks as Lafayette scored 10 in the second half. The Leopards led 14-11 with 10 minutes to go, but gave up a go-ahead goal to the Bison with 3:26 left. Stein netted the equalizer with just :44 seconds left in the game, but Bucknell struck in overtime for the win.
Softball (2-20-1) (0-3)
March 23, 24 vs. Lehigh
L, 6-0; L, 4-1; L, 4-3
The Leopards managed just four hits in the March 23 double-header, but broke through in the second inning with a three-run rally in the final game of the series. The three-run lead didn’t hold as the Mountain Hawks took the lead in the final inning.
March 26 @ Drexel
L, 7-6; T, 8-8
Down 3-2 entering the final inning, the Leopards put up four runs in the top of the frame. Drexel came back in the bottom half with a walk-off win. Senior shortstop Brooke Wensel hit a homerun in a productive day for the Leopards, who tied the game in the seventh. No one scored in the eighth or ninth, ending the game in a tie.

March 23 @ VertKlasse Meet
The Leopards recorded six top-10 finishes, led by a sixth-place finish in the high jump by freshman Oscar Jopp.
