Men’s Basketball (17-12, 9-9)

February 25 – Lafayette vs. Colgate

L, 95-83

Sophomore point guard led the way with 30 points in this high scoring affair. Senior Dan Trist added 19 and sophomore Bryce Scott added 13.

February 28 – Lafayette vs. Army

W, 74-64

Seniors Dan Trist scored 24 points and Seth Hinrichs added 11 on Senior Day. Bruce Scott led the team in rebounds with ten.

Women’s Basketball (14-16, 7-12)

February 25 – Lafayette at Colgate

L, 49-36

Junior Jamie O’Hare led the team in scoring with 11 points and sophomore Ashley Lutz added 9. This was the first time in 28 tries that Emily Homan has not scored in double figures.

February 28 – Lafayette at Army

L, 57-41

Seniors Emily Homan and Linnel Macklin had 12 points a piece in the team’s final regular season game. Ashley Lutz grabbed 13 rebounds.

March 4 – Lafayette vs. Loyola

W, 58-46

Sophomore Ashley Lutz had a double-double with 14 points and 12 boards in the first round of the Patriot League Tournament. Junior Jamie O’Hare had 16 points.

Baseball (1-3, 0-0)

February 27 – Lafayette vs. UMBC

L, 4-1

Sophomore pitcher David Bednar allowed just five hits and three runs in 5.1 innings. UMBC allowed just two hits.

February 28 – Lafayette vs. UMBC

W, 7-5

The team avenged their loss from a day ago. Junior Campbell Lipe went three for four at the plate. Freshman shortstop Steve Cohen had three RBIs.

February 28 – Lafayette vs. Richmond

L, 9-0

The team had just one hit all day. Starting sophomore pitcher allowed 6 runs in just 3.1 innings pitched.

March 1 – Lafayette vs. Richmond

L, 8-5

Junior Tyler Hudson went three for four from the plate, had two RBIs and scored two runs. Freshman Steve Cohen also went two for four from the plate.

Men’s Lacrosse (1-3, 0-2)

February 28 – Lafayette at No. 11 Army

L, 14-3

Sophomore Jason Sands tailed two goals and Junior Mac Gallagher added another.

March 3 -Lafayette vs. No. 20 Penn

L, 9-6

In a game plagued by snow, sophomore Jason Sands had two goals for his second straight game. Sophomores Erik Cannon and Charles McCooe each forced two turnovers on defense.

Women’s Lacrosse (1-5, 0-0)

February 25 – Lafayette vs. Wagner

L, 14-9

Sophomore Kristen Wilhelmsen scored five goals. Sophomore Amanda Case added a goal and an assist.

February 28 – Lafayette at Temple

L, 17-7

Sophomore Kristen Wilhelmsen scored three goals on the day for the Lady Leopards. She also added an assist.

February 4 – Lafayette at Binghamton

L, 10-7

Sophomore Charlotte Rath and Amanda Case each had two goals. Junior Melissa Galione has a goal and an assist.
